I'm thinking about getting the Firestone's too but noticed on the spec's sheet for these tires at Tirerack.com that the suggested rim width should be 9.5 to 11. I noticed in previous posts that a 9 inch rim is ok. ???????? I' d hate to buy these and have to return them because the installer sez their too narrow......

The 285s work fine on the 9" wheels.

      I'm on my 2nd set of 285s.

After having them, the 275s look too small!
