Right, an over-oiled filter can contaminate a MAF, but not hurt anything else. Sounds like they are full of pee-pee kaka to me. Aside from that, you can usually clean the MAF wires with a Qtip and acetone, that is if the MAF doesn't burn off the contamination all by itself.

Went to look at my car today...and it seems nothing has been done to the her. Sonya, the lady thats in charge of looking after her wasn't in and I told them not to touch her. I'ma talk to Sonya on Monday (when she gets back in) and ask her was the heck she is doing...why are you replacing it, what was wrong with it in the first place...
I don't have any problem paying for repairs if it's legit, but from what you guys are telling me...it's a bunch of crock. I'll let you guys know what's going on...
For now, she's in the garage (I told them not to move her) until we iron out the details.
I looked at her, and didn't show anything was even done to her. I saw the K&N filter (wasn't in the box)...but that's was about it. No scraches and have fender covers on her, along with seat covers and mats...so they are taking care of her...I just want to make sure that the repairs are worth my money...
