Most mentioned cat back systems are the SLP Loudmouth and the Borla cat back systems.

The LM goes for around $ 350 while the Borla is around $650.

I haven't really looked at headers but there are plenty of threads on this forum about them. Do a search and read up on it.

Get a good set of headers and one of the above cat backs and you should be covered.
97 Trans Am A4 more or less stock (Mods: WS6 Ram Air with Fernco & K&N, 12 disc CD changer, power antenna, SLP Fan Switch, LS1 Aluminum DS, Borla Cat back, McCord power plate, Spohn tower brace, Sirius, HID fog lights)

        1) He runs in Nevada.... "elevation".

        2) You can't judge HP from ET. Look at his MPH. It corresponds to about 440HP for a 3,760# car. Not bad, at the typical track elevation in Nevada.

        3) His car is not "drag" oriented.... look at the poor 60-ft times. He runs the Silver State Classic, and has finished first in the 135 MPH Class, and 2nd in the 140 MPH class. The car is no slug.
