  • low coolant level sensor part number

I give up. I bought a "low coolant level sensor" GM part #22565474 (same number for AC Delco) to fix the low coolant light on the dash. It is not the right part. I see from Rob's (shoebox) web site (yes I should have looked here first) that the correct part number is 10096163. My question is what is 22565474 and where does it go.
2002 Electron Blue Vette, 1SC, FE3/Z51, G92 3.15 gears, 308.9 RWHP 321.7 RWTQ (before any mods), SLP headers, Z06 exhaust, MSD Ignition Wires, AC Delco Iridium Spark Plugs, 160 t-stat, lots of ECM tuning

    1995 Z28, many mods, SOLD

    Sorry, can't help beyond that.

The sensor should look like a square thing with
clips that are the size of paper clips.
