I give up. I bought a "low coolant level sensor" GM part #22565474 (same number for AC Delco) to fix the low coolant light on the dash. It is not the right part. I see from Rob's (shoebox) web site (yes I should have looked here first) that the correct part number is 10096163. My question is what is 22565474 and where does it go.

Sorry, can't help beyond that.
The sensor should look like a square thing with
clips that are the size of paper clips.

it is right under the radiator cap about 2 inches down and has seals on it
like above it is square 1 and 1/2 inches
