Whew, today I own it. Made the final payment for the loan and can't wait until spring. Although she is hybernating in the garage under the cover for another month or so, I am excited to see if it drives any better since she is debt free. Best money I ever spent.

Sing it brother!! Free and clear is the way to go. My 3 cars are all payed for. They might be older than some peoples cars but they are low miles and the fact remains they are all mine.Originally posted by tclelland

It feels good to open the hood and look at something that is really yours. Whenever someone in a more expensive car than mine thumbs his nose at me I think.... "I could go get a loan to if I wanted it"
I owe almost 7 figures in mortgages. At least houses appreciate in value. The last thing I would do is borrow money to buy something that is going to drop majorly in value. Unless it is an income property, if I cant pay cash for it I don't need it.
Speaking of property... A new tenant just dropped off a security deposit and lease.
Cha-ching! 2 down 1 to go.
Enjoy *your* car. It really is yours now. Keep it and love it.Tracy

That feeling of finally paying something off is great, you can actually enjoy it without thinking about anything pending. It’s kind of similar with banking in a smaller way. Once everything is set up properly, things just work the way they should without any interruptions.
A lot of people try to jump straight into online payments or ATM use as soon as they get their card, but if the debit card isn’t activated yet, nothing really goes through. I remember running into that myself. The card looked ready to use, but transactions kept failing until I completed the activation step.
What worked for me was taking a few minutes to go through the proper process first. After activation, I tried a small payment and checked my balance just to be sure everything was working. That one step made everything smoother after that, whether it was shopping online or withdrawing cash.
When I wasn’t sure about the exact process, I came across a guide on fab debit card activation that explained it in a simple way. It felt fresh and updated, and the steps were easy to follow without any confusion, which helped me get it done quickly.
Once your card is active, you don’t really have to think about it again. Payments go through, ATM access works fine, and everything feels straightforward. It’s a small step, but it makes a big difference in how smoothly your banking works day to day.
