I was more amazed than anything that the guy who had the fastest cam-only LS1 ran a 10.93, while the guy with the fastest head-and-cam setup ran only ran a 10.50

oh, and I think that I would kill myself with that 1181hp as well . Wait, we forgot to mention the 3,660lbs. race weight. And its a convertible with full interior. He has a 100-shot, and has plans to drop a few hundred pounds, and add a few hundred horses. His goal is sevens
      my car:
'86 Caprice Classic. Soon to have a 350 crate motor. Shooting for 300rwhp.

      the project:
check the www for pics, but a '36 Chevy Master Sedan, MII front end, Jaguar IRS, '93 LT1 powerplant with plans for 350rwhp, and many many other goodies

Is it just me or is evryone else shifting towards the LS1, I am starting to feel left out with my LT1 TA, more and more new stuff for LS1's ..but not LT1's. Makes me think and reconsider owning this bird as its suspension due for major overhaul, I guess the years take its toll.

Dont get me wrong, each morning I crank that engine I giggle, but NYC beats up, and it is my daily driver, and I think I might be the only nut around here to drive one.
