I'm a little bit puzzled on how you make the quantum leap from "some Vette drivers don't know how to drag race" to "Vette drivers are old farts"...... I don't see any mention in the rambling posts that attributed the lack of drag race acumen to "old age".

Really pisses me off when people just assume they can sh!t on people because they are "old farts"..... any time you want to run the 1/4-mile, let me know.... cuz if my AARP-member driven Formula can't waste you, I'll get my "almost as old as me" buddy with a 1,325HP 30th SS convertible to do the job.

I would take offense to the idiot comment, but your initial post shows me the quality of the person making the judgement...so its taken with a grain of salt...

I have been reading this message board since its beginning, and the one thing that has made it great through all these years is the lack of childish name calling posts. Generalizations like your inital post are a waste of space and provide no valuable information or interesting conversation.

Morroredshades made a joke. He did not intend to make anyone angry, he did not call anyone a bad name, he was just casually joking with a fairly close group of internet friends.

Now, Ruz and even Fred on the other hand, totally took him wrong, got upset and instead of trying to see what the intent was, immediately called him an a-hole and critisized him.

Nice. You have a short fuse, Ruz. Lighten up. He meant no harm, no disrespect and nothing personal against you ar any other person (except maybe the guy running the vette). I call my father an "old man" all the time, it mens no disrespect.
