Well,
I just got back from visiting the T/A at it's stint on the rack for some upgrades, and this is what we found
Good News: The suspension upgrade turned out great!!! The SFC's went on perfect and the control arms, panhard, and struts/springs were a perfect fit. All in all, an easy install.
Bad News: It appears that my strange numb spot in the steering is a loose rag joint. Now the shop tells me that the whole shaft must be replaced. Somewhere in the neighborhood of $250.00 or so. Not sure what to do about that yet.....
Worse News: The water pump is leaking from the weep hole!! Oh %^^%^&. That's the last thing that I wanted to hear. Oh well, looks like it's water pump and Opti time. Anyone want to chime in on how hard this was to do? As you can imagine, the labor book at the shop made me want to
. I really don't want to spend that kind of money when I could do this.
Looks like I got some work to do. I got free beer for anybody that wants to help!!!!!
