there are 4 wolf ranches in Fla. if they can handle that..they can handle NY summer.

you wont get a wolf. thats illegal. and please.....................do yourself a favor if you are serious about a wolfdog... do search online..about wolfdogs... and go to my site as well. they are not like regular dogs.. and they require alot of knowledge from the owner on how to raise them..and alot of time devoted to raising them. kennels wont board them.....some vets wont treat them... do your homework... this is not something to waltz into unknowledgeable. i do over 25 wolfdog rescues a year from folks that had no idea what they were up against........

another question, can you get a wolfdog when theyre babies? is it better to get them when they are very young or when they mature a little.

the younger the better. you dont want them to get comfortable in their surroundings. most good breeders take them from their parents at 2 weeks and bottle feed them to help bond with humans... i got Keona at 4.5 weeks old. no earlier than 4 weeks though... between 4 and 5 is fine... a good breeder can also tell the temperment by then.

some that you adopt turn into wonderful companions too. they know your "rescued" them. if you decide to go that route.. i can get you one thru Full Moon Farm (www.fullmoonfarm.org) . a small donation to help them is all they ask. the president is a personal friend of mine there.
