I am also in the market for new shoes for the TA. Has anyone heard anything good or bad about Dunlop Sport 9000's? They are 245/50 ZR16 and list for $175.

They're 16's your right. I was sure all along that they were 17's but went outside and looked and it defintely says 245\50\16 so I was completly wrong. So what tire and size do you reccomend for the 16 inch rims lol.1994 Firebird Formula, M6, Fan switch, 160 thermostat, Pacesetter LT headers, Morosso CAI, TB bypass, True duals.

I would keep the 245/50/16 size tires for the stock rims. I had 255/50/16s (the biggest that'll fit on those rims) on my old Formula and they looked too tall to me. A little like truck tires or something. If he wants to upgrade the rims to 17"x9" he can fit the 275/17s. If he wants really wide stuff go for the 11" rim in the rear and put 315/17 tires. Good Luck............Later

For daily driving, opening the throttle and just all around good performance (esp. in the rain) I recommend the BF Goodrich g-Force T/A KDW in a 245/50/16. Excellent performance, freeway and street driving in the rain feels almost like dry weather (key word is almost), decently priced and good UTQG rating. I got mine for dirt cheap, but they're still pretty reasonable in price ($134 at Tirerack.com). Just my 0.02Steve
