My friend Randy rides much more carefully now!

I am sorry for your loss, our prayers are with you.
That's is insanely stupid. I can't even imagine what was running through his head when the chemicals hit his brain that he was upon death in that sort of manner in that exact second frozen in time. Horrible.

A number of months ago my friend and I were driving down the street late at night and at a red light pulled up to a young biker. When it turned green, he was gone. He got to about 50 or so and stood up on his bike on one leg, standing straight up with his arms out. The guy did wheelies, hand stands on the seats, you name it. It was frightening to watch.

One more on the highway- My family and I were driving home, traveling at a good 70 mph or so. We hear this noise behind us and looked in the mirrors and saw a few motorcyclists FLY past us, inbetween us and the car in the lane next to us. There was no space on the entire road to fit another car and these guys were hauling butt. One after the other, they came by, pushing at least...at LEAST 150 mphs inches away from two cars. One after the other, they came flying down the highway narrowly missing any slight twitch from a car. If ONE....ONE of those guys had have moved an inch or caught a drift of wind of something, they would have killed alot of people, and themselves. We called and reported it to the police quickly, it was shocking.

It's rediculous to put so many lives that aren't yours into the hands so close to disaster, I can't believe them.

My condolences. I know how u feel I lost 2 of my friends in a car accident about 1.5 years ago. It hurts real bad. And you never really get over it. ON another note, I am 18 and my friend Matt who is barely 18 just got a R1 crotch rocket for his FIRST bike. He says he will be fine cuz he has road a couple 250cc dirtbikes in his life. Everyboyd tells him he is going to kill himself but he is just real ignorant and ignores everybody concerns. Well c what happens to him, hopefully he will be one of the lucky ones, but the statistics dont match up.

Sorry for your loss man. I lost a friend like that a couple of years ago. I had hung out with him earlier that night. Didn't know that was the last time I would see him.

The two toughest ones we've had down here that I know of...

#1, A guy had an R1 for like 2 weeks. He was riding down a 2 lane road, and his pager went off. He picked up the pager to see the number, and ran into the curb. He flew off, hit a telephone pole head first, then the bike hit him. Needless to say he didn't make it.

#2, 2 guys were doing wheelies down an unlit road with a crowd of bikers watching. They were heading toward each other. 100 MPH + no lights = both bikes collided head on. One guy died on impact, the other guy lay dismembered in the ditch while all but one person sped away to avoid being arrested. He died before the ambulance got there, though. The guy that stayed with him has not touched a motorcycle since.

That is such terrible news! Im really sorry to hear that! I kept trying to convince my 17 yr. old brother how stupid he was when he decided to take my bike without my permission, and went down! He was acting really ignorant about the whole situation, blamming his mishap on everyone and everything isntead of blamming his own ignorance and lack of proper training. Lately he's been looking at it from a different angle, and this tragedy goes to show just how serious riding a motorcycle is. Did your friend have a family of his own Spade?

A friend of mine and his wife went out on their HD for a cruise one day. The driver of a Ford Explorer coming the other way looked down to adjust his radio and veered into their lane and hit them head on. The force of impact was so strong he was decapitated and she broke both of her hips and many other bones. They have two young kids and it was really tough on them, but thank god at least their mom survived.

well sorry i havent replyed guys, i just havent been up to anything lately. but life goes on right.

well i went to his funeral yesturday. his best friend tells me he was with a group of buddies on the ortega highway(known for bike accidents)and they were behind a slow car, he moves to his left to pass him and right when Jay got in the other cars blind spot he decides to change lanes. died on impact.
it is still hard to believe that hes gone.
26 years old , divorced, no kids, thank god. the guy had more toys than anything, and he loved bikes. his mom tells me he knew how to ride and that he was always carefull.
we would always tease a middle eastern friend that we had about their tradition with their dots on their forehed. so he would always be saying "dot" for everthing. hed call his sister brenda, brendot, and other stuff like that. so on his coffin everyone put a dot sticker on . it had like a million dots on there i know he smiled down at that.

guys im sorry for this long response and i know that you didnt know the guy but i just feel like i have to tell someone. thanks guys
