i finally spoke with the tropper that was there. at first..he held back.. but i told him i wanted all the truth... even if its graphic.

the only reason im posting this.....is in hopes...that one of you ...pass this on to a young person, or even put it as a sticky in the back of your mind..... life can go out like a light bulb with motor vehicles folks...... plain and simple.

kenny was driving a ram full size pickup...souped up....the trooper said. some alcohol was involved. they didnt put that on the report because at this point....it would not have mattered or done any good.

the truck went into the corner in excess of 70mph...... not a real sharp corner..... the two right tires went into a shallow ditch on the right side of the road..... Kenny tried to pull it out...the girl said .. she said that she heard a "thump"..and the right front end of the truck dropped suddenly (im thinking A arm.)..he had riddin 37 yards in the ditch at this point..... the truck vered right..up and out of the ditch..and went airborn..on its right side....thats the last thing she remembered.... then she crawled out of the truck....looked for kenny...saw him...and went into shock and walked to the phone booth...almost 2 miles. she's in intensive care still. we can call her tonight. she was med evacted from the local hospital the Norfork... the local one could not handle her head injuries. she is 19 years old.

neither of them wore a seat belt. ( i mentioned that earlier). kenny went thru the windshield...taking the steering wheel and the left section of the dash WITH him.... imbedded in him...he was dead before he exited the vehicle......... he continued airborne and slammed into a tree, taking the steering wheel with him in his abdomen.

does it hurt to type this? yes. do i have tears in my eyes? yes.

lets hope no one here ever has to type something simular.

                  wear your seat belts.

thanks all for the support.....God bless every one of you. I luv you folks..

Our oldest will be eligible for her learner's permit in December. I think we'll be having her and our other two read about what happened. It's things like this that made me a cautious driver before I ever got my license. My oldest brother lost 3 friends in a car accident in college because the driver swerved to miss a chicken. He was probably under the influence and speeding too.

Let us know if we can help in any way. In the meantime, we'll keep praying.

I wish there was some way I could take all the pain away but only God can do this.
