ok this is what I found out.
The A/C Compressor mount is the same part number from 93 to 97. So it should work. The only reason I could find for it saying it stops at 95, is because the LE1 package came with the A/C delete untill 95, when A/C became a standard option.Richard Harvey Jr.

Well, if you think about it, if your A/C is turned off, it is doin the same thing as just a pully sittin there since the clutch isn't engage. So I don't think you would gain much if any. One benifit wound be the weight lose from removing the A/C system.
Just my thought on it.Richard Harvey Jr.

The HP gain you will see from deleting A/C is a very small amount, the result of rotating mass reduction on the outer ring of the electric clutch - probably too small to see on a dyno. Nothing else turns when the A/C is off. The only measurable "gain" from A/C deletion is the 45-55# of weight savings (depending on how many of the components you delete).Fred

that is what i thought. but my next qurestion was going to be how much weight you would loose. that is about half a tenth to sweat your butt off, think i will keep it.1994 Trans Am GT
