Stupid kid. I stopped to turn left into the McD's to get my daughter a McFlurry. I'm a religious freak for blinkers. I always use them. I'm sitting there and I hear brakes. I look up in the mirror and see the windshield of a 93 Honda Accord. I hit the gas but it was too late. WHAM.
I pull off and it looks pretty superficial on both cars. We traded info. I didn't bother calling the cops. My wife says I should have. I might should have but it just seamed to trivial. It's pretty cut and dried no matter what he says. I got home and wiped the grease from his car off mine and there are black smudges that won't come off. I got out the old McGuire's wax with a light rubbing compound and it took it off. The paint has some funny crack marks in it though. It's right at the bottom corner of the tag. I can't see any damage to the metal bumper from inside. I've had 2 rubber bumpers repainted and both pealed so I'm afraid to take it to be redone. I'm considering just leaving it. The kid gets out and says "ah, my brakes wouldn't stop me." Well maybe if you were paying attention they would.
