Well if you get the corvette no need for the Tahoe, nothing to Haul, if you already picked up the Camaro for a considerable small amount I would stick with it, I think you will have little more fun with the Camaro project, and something to haul. What year is the Vette?

I second that! That would definetly be a unique camaro, more so than the vette. My goal is to ultimately own a vette someday, but never at the cost of losing my Z

After running the snot out of a 2003 roadster this past weekend, go for the Vette. If you don't, I will, and I can drive mine out there.

Take the Vette!! Holy crap, man, I would have done the swap right then and there. I wonder if he would be interested in a slightly modded V6 Camaro? Yeah right.......

It doesnt seem like many people know what it is you have, FastTA. This guy isnt trading his vette straight up for just any camaro. This is a one of a kind camaro, not just a regular ol' camaro or vette.......

What exactly is so special and makes his camaro a 1 on a kind then??

I'm just curious, and it sounds interesting.

From the first post of FastTA, its without the engine or trans, so its really not too fast at this point.

Yep, I was just assuming everyone knew about the car. It was built to be a fairly serious drag car. It has a little over 33K invested in the car w/o motor or tranny. The 14 point cage was over 6K alone. It has over 4K in custom powdercoating and paint. Too much to list.

Drag race cars can rarely be sold to the general public for anywhere near what has been invested into them, BUT..........there is always that one person that can appreciate what has been done to the car.

Correct. It is exactly this reason I recommend doing the swap. If you get the vette, you have an asset that is much easier to liquidate than the Camaro.

What I mean is, the vette could be sold in a week for its entire value, but the Camaro would be really hard to sell for anywhere near what it is really worth.

That is why you got a good deal on it, Kevin.

yea so he would not have to sell it for a lot to make money on it because he got it for real cheap and who wants a vette like your going to beat your vette in my book there just like mustangs for girls and old guys who just want to say i have a vette and plus the camaro is way sweeter
but thats just my 3 or 4 cents
