I have the basic bolt on engine mods and I want to put some new suspension components on. Where do I start, I am looking to not spend an arm and a leg because I am broke...but the muscle car inside me will sell my own soul for a little more speed...

I just put a set of BMR sway bars on mine. They made a world of difference. I'm very happy with them. I hate slowing down for turns.
BMR makes good stuff http://www.bmrfabrication.com/
Spohn does too. http://www.spohn.net/
There are lots of stuff you can do. I think the sway bars are the most gain for the least buck compared to lower control arms, panhard bars, springs, etc.
The only reason I got the BMR over the Spohns was because I got a package deal from http://www.lmperformance.com/ that basically got me a shock tower brace for free.2002 Electron Blue Vette, 1SC, FE3/Z51, G92 3.15 gears, 308.9 RWHP 321.7 RWTQ (before any mods), SLP headers, Z06 exhaust, MSD Ignition Wires, AC Delco Iridium Spark Plugs, 160 t-stat, lots of ECM tuning
1995 Z28, many mods, SOLD
