Hey now. See Ill agree with just about any and all those statements but not the one that says, "You have more watts than your engine has torque." Im pushing 1400 watts yet have about 125 horses. Ha ha ha ha ha.... ya its a honda... luagh it up, .... I know its a bucket but it get me to work and back in order to save for an f-body. So see this one is not right... b/c a stock Z28 has 305 horses yet 500 watts....

At my age, and situation regarding money, Im lucky I even have this car. I was driving a 200 dollar Excel in order to get around. So I have to work with what I got. I dont have the luxury of Wealth. So as for the time being, you should be a "tad" bit more open minded. (with all do respect)

Your sig says $1000 in audio. That's a lot of money to spend for someone with no money.

I'd love to have a 5 speed Civic (as a second car of course). Parts all over the place, motor is easy to work on and they get rediculous gas mileage. As long as they aren't riced, they're nice as hell. Front wheel drive is good for bad weather driving too. There aren't many cars that i don't like. As long as it does what it's supposed to do then who cares? People definitely make F-bodies out to sound better than they are. I've tried punching it in different gears like 2nd while doing 45 and frankly, it didn't pull how i thought it would. Good luck man.
Red 95 Trans Am: M6, Moroso CAI, Magnaflow, Spohn sway bars, back to life as of 2/15/10!!!
              SOLD- Kinda miss it
94 Del Sol VTEC: 27 city/ 33 highway, knee deep in slowness
              SOLD- Good riddance!
2006 Ford Fusion: 2.3, 5 speed, could run 15lbs of boost with a 150 shot and it'd still be slow

Thanks NightRage. Yes its a "get around" car. Its not at all rice. I have exhaust and intake and stuff but you know that does help mileage. $1000 is alot but you have to understand that the total value of the system is worth that. I didnt pay retail, plus that was over the course of a year to save up and make my system. I know this might sound nasty and all you guys might hate me but, I dont have a 10 inch exhaust tip, no I put a stock Z28 tip. Unlike any Honda. Ya I know it sounds stupid but It does not look to bad.

Who told you intake/exhaust stuff makes a difference in gas mileage? And what kind of a difference did they tell you it makes?

Also... you have a Z28 exhaust tip on your Civic?

If 2nd gear at 45 mph didn't rock you back in your seat, something is wrong with your car.

Yes I know it sounds stupid but yes I have a Z28 tip on the Civic. As for the difference In gas mileage. I got around 3-6 miles more to the gallon just with intake alone. Believe it or not. Its the cold-air Intake. Bad mouth me all you want. And as for that "NOS" joke and telling my "daddy" I blew the engine. I dont think that would happen considering that I have commen sence in that im not going to "try" and race out a Coke Can.

Dont take it personally. You asked and I answered. Whats so hard to believe. I think what it is, that your holding it against me that I drive a honda and cant quiet yet afford the Z. Its pretty childish to sit there and say,"Whatever." Whats that, middle school? OH well.. I'm holding nothing against you. The thought that a CAI kit produced 3 to 6 extra mpg is ludicrous. Unless your previous air filter was full of bubble gum, there is no way. Do you realize how much 3 to 6 extra mpg really is???
