    What I was referring to is that the tricks you mentioned are all part of a dedicated stock eliminator build up. It is very common for a setup like this to show 375-400 HP with "stock" internals. Regardless of the intended use, it is what it is. Offset grinding the stock crank alone can be worth a few extra cubes and 20 HP. It is amazing the power that can be made especially when using aftermarket engine management like FAST.

        You said a mouthfull. That darn GN engine is turning out to be a money pit. It has JEs, forged rods, block girdle, studs, roller cam, heads, and so on and so on. It's still not totally finished and it never seems to end. Completed it should be good for about 700 lbs of torque. There are so many "little tricks" that drain your wallet before you see it happening.
