Jeff, you are correct. The used kits are $1800 and the new kits are $2595 its a really good deal. Its the same trans that everybody sells as new, but they are all rebuilt by Tremec. Kit includes new SPEC Stage I clutch, pp, Hurst Shifter, new slave and master cylinder, reconditioned flywheel, bellhousing, and crossmember..

Yes they all include the pedal sets. We have been trying to find a ecommerce package that would work for us and allow us to update our own site. Thanks the reason from the change from tnautoparts.com to tennesseeauto.com

        Thanks Scott

Like the other guys were saying resale will be shot and most dealers won't touch that car with a 10 foot pole. Your best bet if you're car isn't to customized to your liking is just dump in a cheap used auto tranny sell the car and buy a different one with stick in it. That's what I would do....GOOD LUCK!

Most people would have no idea the car was converted if you do a good job.

              exactly.

There is virtually no way to tell other than referencing the RPO codes, and dealers dont look at those. If you convert it to stick, you are not hurting the value one bit assuming you do it properly.

The first thing the dealers do is look at the RPO codes and match them. There liability mandates that they do this. But do they care, hell no. They know that most of the smucks looking to buy the car will be more likely to buy the car if it is a 6 speed. To most young car enthusiasts, a 6 speed is simply more fun.

Technically according to book value, automatic transmissions do increase the value of the car, however, most people that are interested in buying an f-body aren't too concerned with that. They just want the 6 speed because of the fun factor.

If your serious about drag racing the car in the near future, well then buy an auto....... or keep your auto in this case .

Actually, 6-speed is standard on all F-body's and cars. Auto is an option.

                    I don't recall anyone saying it wasn't.
