Hello guys:
I had a problem with the water temp rising in town about 4 months ago or so, but really never did get above 225. The fan would kick back on and cool it back down to half or close but kept repeating until i got up to highway speed. I did a complete flush twice and 2 new thermostats and thought it was fixed ubtil around a month ago. Then every now and then I would drive 30 minutes or so and shut it off and coolant would come out from the overflow. My wife drives it to work on 3rd shift and 2 weeks ago said that she stopped at a store on the way home and noticed a fine stream of water coming from the pulley area. Immediately iI figured water pump!!!. I bought a new one and after a frustrating day of putting it on it was fine for about a week. This morning when she got home she said she stopped at a store again and came back out and noticed fluid on pavement once again. She raised the hood and looked and later showed me where she seen it all wet at......Below the 2 heater core hoses at the firewall...... So my question is are they known to get blocked up and maybe cause overheating and possible leak or could it be shot and also cause this problem ?..I checked the hoses and they are fine and am not getting any fluid on the inside floor. Sorry for the lenght guys, but any info would be deeply appeciated !!!!!!
