do all z28's come with the same gear ratio? if not, how can i figure out which gears i have? i know on my thunderbird, there was a sticker that had a code on it that you could look up the gears, it was in the door jamb.

i will most likely be getting 4.10's once the remainder of my factory drivetrain warranty runs out, tho....that is, if i decide not to purchase an extended warranty before then.....

From the pictures, appears its a 6-speed manual. In that case, all Z28's (and Formulas and T/A's) came from the factory with 3.42 gears. They will show up as "GU6" on the build tag.

If it was the 4-speed automatic, it could have either 2.73's (GU2), or 3.23's (GU5) if it was purchased with the "performance rear axle".
