There is not much streetability loss going with a 4.10:1 rear axle ratio as opposed to a 3.73:1 ratio. With the .7 OD gear ratio of the 4L60E, you will only see an additional 250 RPM's at 70 MPH. I know, I have 4.10's in my TA and streetability is absolutely fine. With a pretty big cam and 4.10's I was still seeing about 19 mpg on the highway.
Just be sure you have the means to hook up with the 4.10's.
