I like the 97 z28 rims, it's what came on my car, I'd rather have them over any stock rim that was offered on the camaro up until that time. I'm not crazy about zr1 rims. I do like how they're slightly dished though. z06 rims to me are ugly. I'd rather have a set of 5 spoke chrome C5 rims. I need a set of deep dish chromes, then I'll be happy...
I'm satisfied with these for now...

If I had salad shooters, rims would be a higher priority on the list of things to get for the camaro.

The cars really look good together.... you just have to find a buddy with a blue one, and you can pose them in front of a flag and show people what real red-white-&-blue "American Iron" is!!!

I like the stock 5-spokes. The worst wheels ever on the V8's were the 93/94 Firebird "pinwheels".... after I bought the car brand new, it took me about 6 months to replace them with 17x9.5 5-spoke OZ Monte Carlos. I still have the old "pinwheels" in my attic - anyone interested?

Hey Steve, what color is Tara's camaro? We may just have that combination, even though the blue (if it really is) one isn't a z28, it would be a great idea...thanks Injuneer. We are gonna have to set something up when I come back to Texas!

her car is green if i remember correctly.....but that's ok...i'm sure we can find another blue Z28 in this town without too much trouble.

i'll prolly be going to a local car club meeting this friday if it's not raining, so i'll see what i can find then.

What sort of group is it? F-Body only, or other cars as well?

it's not f-body specific, but it is domestic cars only....i.e., no rice allowed!

Hands down those 5-spokes look much better than the salad shooters. I feel the salad shooters simply don't look good with the f-body. I definitly agree with Fred on the "pinwheels". Wow, those were bad lookin'.

IMO Pontiac puts some of the worst looking rims on their cars. It's like they're going for some sort of qausi-futuristic look. My dad had a 2002 Grand Prix GT with these weird looking 3 spoke rims, ugh! They need to fire their wheel design team. I think the thing with rims is the simpler the better. Most really nice looking performance rims are based on a clean 5 spoke design, ie. WS6, ZR1, IROC, TT2s, most Boyd's wheels, most Foose wheels, even the Z06 and SS 10 spokes are a variation an the 5 spoke design. Just MHO but I think simple and clean is better when it comes to rims. Even the big show rims I think look better with a more classic design than a bunch of weird complicated designs......Just my 2 cents....Later
