Hey guys - need some opinions. I just had new tires installed - Goodyear GS D3s. Well, I was informed one of my wheels is cracked You can tell they didn't do it at the tire shop (the crack is not new - dirt and dust in and around the crack) but I am not sure when or how it happened. Anyways while I was at the shop, Discount Tire Direct, he showed me some replica ZO6 wheels in black. Size - 17x9.5 with a 54 mm offset. Would this look nice on my car? I was told my wheels can be repaired but I am skeptical. There are some other wheels I like better but they are much more expensive and they would dip into my "beater car fund". I was not planning on any "cosmetic mods" yet but may be forced to? All opinions appreciated!

With yoour color I definitely would put a polished or chrome wheel on. Check TomZ Wheels on eBay. He has very cheap Z06 replicas.
Here is a complete set of silver Z06 wheels for $395. You can find lots of deals like this on eBay. Chrome will be a little more.

I've seen a trans am with Z06 rims on it and it just didnt look right, i dont know why, I'd go with another wheel, but if you've seen em on a T/A and they looked good I'd say go for it but definatly in polished or chrome, not black.2001 Camaro SS, ATI P1-SC Procharger 7 psi pulley (for now muah ha ha), MAC headers, MAC off road Y-Pipe, MAC "Cat Back", K&N, Richmond Racing 3.73's, Hypertech Power Programmer III custom programmed for Procharger, Subframe Connectors, Z06 rims (17x9.5, 18x10.5) BFG G-Force 315/30/18's. I agree with Chris!!!!! I am HUGE fan of gloss black wheels with a chrome lip! And on a pewter car... drrrrrrooooooooollllllll !!!!!
Casey! I wouldn't even think twice about this. DO IT!
Or better yet, do they have gunmetal gray with a chrome lip? If so, go with that!Former Ride: 2002 Pontiac Trans Am WS6 - 345 rwhp, 360 rwtq... stock internally.
