Keep the TA and get a beater. Thats what i've done for the past 3 or 4 years since i've had the Monte and now my TA. I've bought a car for around 4-5 hundred bucks that runs decent, got my money's worth out of it durning the winter, and then sold/junked it. Plus its fun having a car you can drive into things (snowbanks, signs, poles, garbage cans) and not have to worry about it.

Cliffnotes: DONT SELL THE TRANS AM FOR A ******* VOLVO!!!!!! I DONT CARE HOW NICE IT IS.

MODERATOR WARNING: ENOUGH OF THE TRASH MOUTH STUFF. CLEAN IT UP OR GET OUT.

I say Keep the TA until an overly-obvious decision is handed to you .. you do not want that ever lingering question to stay in the back of your mind for th e rest of your life do you

since we are on the subject of euro sports cars (Volvo I consider euro)
Besides if I wanted anything I would like that Mercedes Prototype supercar that angles the entire tire rim and a-arms so that the tire has 100% contact patch . I saw a show on it on PBS. Simply amazing .. no other car like it on planet earth .. turns quicker and can handle better than anything currently Now what is that cars name

Pfffft... girls are more interested in money than cars, bro... at least the girls I know. A $42K luxury import would probably do me better in that department than a car with a red-neck gearhead reputation...

I'm not complaining. Just saying that if you think Trans Ams get you girls, it sure hasn't worked that way for me in my 3 years of ownership.

Very true with the redneck gearhead steorotype. I went to a Barenaked Ladies concert a few months ago and the guys in the band were joking around sarcastically about how they just pulled up in a TransAm and had the T-tops off. "Hey baby!, come for a ride in my TransAM! I've got the T-tops off! LOL.

Where did this redneck thing come from? Also, where did the stereotype of only italians driving I-rocs come from? I'd associate a Trans Am more with David Hasselhoff than anything if i was some schmuck on the street that didn't know anything about them.
Red 95 Trans Am: M6, Moroso CAI, Magnaflow, Spohn sway bars, back to life as of 2/15/10!!!

                    SOLD- Good riddance!
2006 Ford Fusion: 2.3, 5 speed, could run 15lbs of boost with a 150 shot and it'd still be slow

Stolen Bird is completely on target. South TX is known for having a lot of beautiful women. And believe me it is no myth!

Any girl here in South TX wouldn't give you the time of day in a Volvo. I don't care if it cost you 40k, 50k, or even more. A trans am is a muscle car and the "bad boy" image that is associated along with the car is like an aphrodisiac!

It is true that women do "appreciate" money, but what they lust for is a man in a car that has a sort of rebellious attitude and a car that will haul some a$$.

Trans Am WS6 defines this to a "T".

And where in the world did the TA or even the Camaro for that matter become associated with a redneck image?? That makes zero sense.

Well... no offense... but redneck and Texas kinda go hand-in-hand Kev-bro...

What is normal in Tay-has is kinda redneck to us North Mid-Westerners.

Maybe 1 in 20 girls here gives a rat's (_|_) about how fast a car is... I think more often a nice car is a turn OFF for girls.

...I have had my share of flings over the past few years (not nearly as many as I would like, but anywho...), and not a single one was remotely aided by the car.

The WS6 is still 0-for as far as getting girls goes...

Jay I'm thinkin' you have you never been to South TX? It is funny how Texas is conceived to be a cowboy/ redneck state. It is actually much like southern cali here. Beautiful weather almost year round, beautiful barely clothed women, lots of high rollers, fast cars, and then of course the visiting northerners who almost seem to glow in the dark from lack of sunshine I guess. j/k

I have a few friends who moved here from Minnesota and they loved it here so much they don't want to ever go back to the frozen tundra up North. Another interesting thing I noticed about them was that they had no game with the women. I guess this was a byproduct of the lack of hot women in yankee-ville.

No but seriously, Texas women have very "strong" attitudes and are very confident in their ways, so I guess us Texas men have to step it up just that much more.

If you ever get a wild hair and want to come see what it is all about down south, give me a call. I will take you out and show you a good time here. There are lots of single TX women just for you Jay.

I know what you mean. The number of "synthetically asssited body part" women here is growing astronomically! I have several female friends who were really cool, gorgeous, and down to earth and then they went and got implants and now they are cocky as hell. They think there s**t doesn't stink. Well little do they know, it does!

Oh well, there are many ways to counter a cocky woman. You just have to use their attitude to their disadvantage and ultimately to your adavantage. I am a master.
