Have you ever seen the road races over in Europe? They have wings just like that. My guess is that spoiler is actually 100% functional.
Former Ride: 2002 Pontiac Trans Am WS6 - 345 rwhp, 360 rwtq... stock internally.

    Current Ride: 2006 Subaru Legacy GT Limited - spec.B #312 of 500

Although rediculous looking, it is functional.. And that thing can rip.

I definitely wouldn't doubt that it's fuctional and can rip, but i think that is one of the biggest looking wings i've ever seen. It just always cracks me up.

          Yes, it is insane looking!

If that were my car, the first mod would include a hacksaw

I saw one like that at the shopping center a year ago - all in black with huge tires and looked & sounded nasty. It had that same wing-on-a-wing, and all I could think of was how stupid and bizarre that made the car look. I had no idea that they actually got raced like that. In spite of the wing, I was very impressed by how muscular the car seemed.
