Nope, cops are imperfect humans too. Though your example is very poor because it highlights greed and selfishness as the motivating factor. A discovery of the significance I am refering too would be far more financially beneficial if the person shared it with the world. It is based on the flawed assumption that the purpose of science is to destroy religion for easy access to sin.

I sense the fact that you are repetitively insinuating that the "believers" are narrow minded individuals whom are not willing to to accept any other alternatives or an otherwise divergent perspective as to the explanantion of existince here on earth. That couldn't be further from the truth. Faith is the vast majority of the foundation of a Christian's belief system, and to exercise faith, one must be as open minded as possible. Keep in mind that we the "believers" have nothing to prove. It is the non-believers who dedicate every available resource that they can muster at the desparate but cherished chance that they might yet one day be able to turn to a Christian and say "I told you so".

Actually I purposely chose that example to illustrate the similarities of greed that do exist between the cop that I described and the often disguised motives of those who claim to be digging for the evolutionary "cause" or for the benefit of the evolution minded scientific community.

No doubt there are plenty of archaeologists that are truly motivated only by the pursuit of better understanding mankind, but there are 10 times more archaeologists (or just those who are involved with the digs for that matter) that are only motivated by glory and greed and not by knowledge. Since the bible is accurate and supplies you with enough information to satify you desire for knowledge, should we stop funding sciences supposedly invalidated by "creation science". Is that what you are suggesting? Stop looking over there, we already know that answer!

And you are thinking how closed minded I AM? Go figure.

First I never said you were closed minded, and I personally dont think I am. I re-read my post just to make sure I wasnt on crack and actually said to stop funding science because i have the answer. That was a big jump Sean. Im all for science, if it werent science we wouldnt be debating this on these nifty things called computers. What im saying is it takes just as much "faith" to believe in evolution as it does to believe in God. We wont know who is right till we die. We will either stop to exist totally or we will go and be with the maker. Its as simple as that. You ask for proof of God I ask for Proof of the big bang... I guess we are all just stuck believing in what we believe.

And you believe that the Scientist dont have just as much at stake? What if something was found to Prove God created the earth would they not hide that in a lab somewhere to keep their science alive. The world would be in huge disarray if evolution was wrong, would we not have to question everything that was a proven scinetific fact? Im not saying that the creationists would not do the same thing. The fact is that there is too much politics mixed with religion and science to ever get a strait un-alterd answer. I believe God will tell me the answer to all things and if Im wrong well Ill rot in a whole in the ground. If your wrong about God he will deal with you and If your right you will die and also rot in a whole in the ground. either way we will know when we die. I dont belive in God because I have been told to eg. "Good post. All I can do is admit I dont know anything for 100% sure. It boggles my mind how anyone can have 100% faith in a religion with no physical proof. 100% faith, without as much as a 1% doubt about it. That is amazing. It almost sounds like brainwashing from childhood." with this quote (which Im sorry I cant remember who wrote it) It seems as though people feel that God is pushed on children, my parents let me grow up and make my own choice.
