They have shop manuals on sale all of the time on EBAY, so I think I will probably end up getting a set of those and I should be able to have a fair shot at doing this back lash job.
One last question, do you know if a non-TCS rear end can be substituted if I decide to change out the whole thing?

My guess is that it would mess up the ABS system. There are 3 & 4 sensor systems. TC requires a 4 sensor system where the sensors are at the wheels on the rear end and not at the ring gear like in the 3 sensor system. The wiring and controls is obviously different. If you don't care about ABS and TC, then just disable it (you might get a dash light though).
