I work in a hospital as a security guard while going to college. I see so many people who can't afford good treatment let alone medicine. There are people walking around with cancer, broken bones, and other thigns they never get treated for because they have no insurance. It is realy sad and frustrating. Bush's way of dealing with metacare is not enough.

Kerry-Edwards, Good luck and you got my vote.

I see rich people all the time that can affors things I cannot, so I think im gonna vote communist in the next election.

Bush is right on the money.....allow the gov't to control health care and we'll get crap. We are already heading toward socialism, why not add another to the list: government controlled health care.

I feel that Bush had the upper edge this time.
However, I do not agree, nor even come close to liking one particular view he has. Outsourcing. He didn't have much to say about outsourcing itself, rather...if you got layed off because of outsourcing, go back and get a college education. He has incentives for that. Then you will can start/retry your career "with a college diploma." What about for those of us who DO have a B.S. degree? Or those of us who are pursuing a Master's and STILL cannot find a job (or have a really crappy, low paying, irrelavant one)!!! I think he's missing it big here...even when AMD's own IT department is outsourced to India, it is absolutely ridiculous. At least Kerry has an "incentive," or as he claims, to help demote outsourcing. Other than that, I'm happy with Bush.

If you stop outsourcing, products will cost 10 times what they do if they are made in China or Mexico, then we'll see what kind of job your gonna need to pay for it all. The answer to the problem is to find a job that cant be replaced by a a guy working for .50 and hour in China......not stop outsourcing. If you were a businessman, youd be on the other side of this issue.

The Gallup poll shows Kerry won 52% - 39%.

I find that shocking. Unbelievable. I have lost all faith in American voters. I really dont' know what to say.

1. Problem: Liberal media.

2. Problem: People have to look at the CHARACTER of John Kerry. If it was shown for what it really is....no one would vote for him - except the die hard Bush hater.

Here is the deal with outsourcing. If the government says to stop "outsourcing" here is what happens. Businesses either have to pay more for the jobs that went outside the US which will raise the cost of those goods which lowers the buying power of the consumer. Now you say I can't afford for the prices for goods and services to go up, I have to have more money. So the business raises your pay to pay for them but hey he has to get that money from somewhere so he raises his prices which defeats the raise you just got. It leads to spiraling inflation. It's self defeating. Bush understands that. The problem is most of the people who vote do not and will vote for Kerry because he says he will stop outsourcing. People hear that and say good, I won't loose my job. But in the long run because of the price inflation they won't be any better off.

I want to say something about the raising of the minimum wage too. It does the same thing as stopping outsourcing. Take for example a business who has 10 employees who make $5.15 an hour. The cost to an employer is $51.15 an hour. The government steps in and says you have to raise the minimum wage to $7.00 which is what Kerry said last night. So you are forced to pay $7.00 per hour per employee. but you still only have $51.15 per hour that you can spend on employees. You don't have any more money to spend. You have 2 things you can do. You can fire 3 of those 10 people. Now your cost is $49.00 per hour. 3 people just lost their jobs. Unemployment just went up by 30%. Choice number 2 is raise the prices of your goods and services by enough to pay 10 people $7.00 an hour which will cost the business $70.00 . That is a 36% inflation of price. The buying power of the people did not go up at all. You will not be able to buy more goods and services.

These policies that Kerry wants sounds good to the uneducated voter but they are ultimately defeating. The worst part is he may win on them too. Kerry is pandering for votes to the people who don't understand economics. And our government school system does not educate people enough to understand it.

You dont have to post them. ANyone who studies and really looks into what he is all about knows that he lacks character. His life is summarized by dishonor, and dishonesty. Even if the things he was promising were good (and theyre not) you couldnt believe a word he says anyways!

By the way, Jeff, youre right on the money. Most people dont look that deep into these things. They look at what is going to affect me, right now. Thats who Kerry attracts to vote for him.

John Kerry talks a good talk, but he doesn’t walk a good walk. He tends to put his foot in his mouth from time to time though.

Kerry screwed up mentioning Cheney’s lesbian daughter last night. It was a cheap shot and tacky to say the least. Its sad that he feels like he needs to do something like that to beat Bush in the debate. You don’t talk about the sexual preferences of your opponents children. That just shows Kerry’s lack of integrity. Edwards did the same thing in his debate with Cheney. Also, Kerry bragged last night about how he “married up” a little better than George Bush and Bob Schaefer, referring to his billionaire wife. I hope that he doesn’t think that was supposed to be funny. It just shows that he is a braggart.

A while back, Kerry’s wife has made the statement that she didn’t really want to be a first lady, because she didn’t want to give up her freedom. Who would want Therasa Kerry for a first lady anyway? She looks like she is drunk all of the time, or something.

When it comes down to it, Kerry goes with whatever winds blow him. Have you noticed how he has “gotten religion” all of a sudden. I’m sure that one of his advisers thought that his poll numbers would go up a bit if he started talking about “his faith”. Kerry IS NOT his own man. He is always caving in to pressure and changing his position to suit what he thinks will give him the most political gain.

Something else that is cause for concern, is that even if Kerry doesn't win this go around, he stands a good chance of maybe winning in 2008, or even worse, John Edwards could run and win.

You take things too seriously. Kerry's reference to his wife was a joke, and it was funny... just like W making fun of his English skills.

Who cares what Mrs. Kerry said about not wanting to be a First Lady? And saying she would be bad because she "looks drunk all the time" is lame. Seriously, that's as bad or worse than when Dems say "I'm voting for Kerry because Bush sucks."

I don't think Kerry will run in '08 if he loses this. I think we could be looking at Giuliani vs. Clinton... now THAT would be an exciting election
