What did he lie about?

Show me ONE thing he said, that you can prove he knew was an outright lie at the time he said it.

Sure, we didnt find a gigantic stash of WMD. We did find a few, though. Bush was not the only one who "lied" if that is what you are going to insist he did. Kerry also said there were WMD, as well Clinton and the CIA and many other global intelligence agancies.

Are people so blinded from truth and reason that they cannot see this? Apparently sme people dont think about what they read. There have been dozens of posts here explaining exactly why things happenned the way they did. If people decide to ignore the facts in blind hatred for Bush then it is a lost cause. I give up. You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink.

Bush has taken the most secular country in the middle east and turned it into a center of islamic radicals.
He's played right into the hands of Osama and his type.
The middle east borders were arbitrarily drawn by the Brits after WW1.
Osama wants a great Islamic state covering the whole middle east.
Saddam was a dictator but under him there was a seperation of church and state.
In fact Sadam was our buddy.
We gave him weapons to fight Iran in the 80's..
We demonized him because he had the audacity to take Kuwait after the state department told him they weren't concerned about it.
Pat Buchanan is right when he calls invading Iraq the greatest blunder in 40 years.

it is better to build a magnet to attract them to a place outside the US so we can kill them there instead of allowing them to attack on our soil. Iraq is now our magnet.

So Sadam the maniacle dictator (and his sons) who raped, killed and used WMD to kill thousands of his own plus the Curds should had been left in power? Did you not learn anything from our mistake in WWII? We let Hitler kill hundreds of thousands before we did anything about it. You appear to know the goal of the islamic extremists. "Osama wants a great Islamic state covering the whole middle east" I agree with you there. They intend to first eliminate Isreal and retake the holy land. They would love to see all Jews die. Then they would take some time to grow there and get more powerfull before attacking outward. The entire world would be in terror.

Do you know why we armed Sadam in the 80s? Because the USSR was arming Iran and we needed to maintain a balance of power. It was all part the cold war. If I remember correctly we won the cold war. Arming Sadam in those days past has little to nothing to do with todays events. It was a necessary thing to do at the time. Are you saying it was a bad thing? Would you had allowed the Iranians armed by the USSR to overrun Iraq?

The genie was unleashed not by Bush, but by terrorists that killed thousands of "infedels" when they crashed several passenger airliners on our soil. An elevated level of security resulted and the awareness of Sadams terror ties and WMD's could not any longer be ignored. Based on the best international intelligence of that time we had to act imediately. Clinton, Kerry, the US cingress and the UN all agreed. There is NO fault in this decision.

We didnt get much support from France, Russia, China and Syria but that is because they were in bed with Sadam to the tune of Billions of dollars with the oil for food scandal. The didnt want the gravy train to end.

Keep your arguments coming. I can refute anything you come up with. That is the problem with liberals. They draw their conclusions from half of the truth and when you add the other half you get the real story.
