I just bought a 1996 ws6 t/a and my ses, abs inop, brake, tcs off lights are all on. The car has bbk equal length headers, heads have been ported polished and cnc'd, it has dual 2.5" inch exaust all the way back, throttle body has been bored. It has an auto tranny with the lt1. my question is, is that its kinda slow. I didnt know with the ses light on if the computer is not letting the computer run right with the headers, exaust, and headwork. Is there anything i can do to make it run correctly? someone had said something about closed loop or open loop sumthin or other with the computer..??.. any idea?

First we need to know what code the ses light is signaling. If its something like the MAF or something, that can be the reason right there.

If you want your mods to operate properly with the PCM, you may want to have it reflashed to match your mods. I would suggest Ian at madz28.com. He is pretty inexpensive and does a nice job.

Having all the dash warning lights on simultaneously can be the sign of a problem with the electrical system, low system voltage, and the engine grounds. Did you buy it with all the dash lights on, or did they just come on one by one as you drove it?

That's a nice screaming chicken on the hood. Is it painted or a decal?

You should go to Autozone. They will let you scan the codes in the computer for free. That would be my first starting point, before anything else.

The price you apyed sounds fair. It is a great looking car! enjoy!

It would be a good idea to see what codes are stored in the PCM to start.
