There's no 'Lounge' or 'General Discussion' section here, so some of the members discuss other topics on the main forum. But, yeah, we might just be worse than a bridge club, but some of these guys have been talking to eachother since '99, so we discuss all kinds of things here.

            Hi Guys!

I honestly don't know what has happened to people. It is like people are hipnotized or something. They can't see 2 feet in front of themselves.

I have talked to I'm blue in the face to this one guy who works in my department (computer services). Trying to tell him that Kerry is a professional liar. I have even proven it to him.

People are stupid. I can honestly see right through John Kerry and I see a United States with a terrorists doing as they please! While Kerry runs like a yellow dog!

            I'm not kidding I'm Scared!!!!

It's just another Liberal lie. If they were really serious about eachother, they would be wetting their lips in anticipation as they gaze into one another's eyes, instead, they are just thinking about how best to use eachother to mutually acquire power ...

                    Remember the missing explosive story? Well here's a follow up on it. http://www.drudgereport.com/nbcw.htm Highlights from it are;

"But tonight, NBCNEWS reported: The 380 tons of powerful conventional explosives were already missing back in April 10, 2003 -- when U.S. troops arrived at the installation south of Baghdad!

An NBCNEWS crew embedded with troops moved in to secure the Al-Qaqaa weapons facility on April 10, 2003, one day after the liberation of Iraq.

According to NBCNEWS, the HMX and RDX explosives were already missing when the American troops arrived. "

"I guess we won't be able to attack Bush on this one either." Grrrrr

Kerry has already attacked Bush on it. He called it another example of incompetence and a giant blunder. I dont have the exact quote handy.

Its funny how this stuff came out on the same day that Clinton went back on the campaign trail with Kerry-
Its also funny how Kerry used to be one of Bush's strongest supporters, until SOMEBODY (Bill Clinton), convinced him that he should run for President.
Kerry, is still harping about this news story, when everybody already knows that it was bogus. You have to consider the source of the story (UN), to understand whats going on.

Here is a good article I found. When I hear people with the opinion that going into Iraq and removing Saddam was the wrong thing to do, I like to point out this:

                            http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,135652,00.html

"By one estimate, 300,000 people were slaughtered during Saddam's rule and dumped in 40 different mass grave sites around the country"

"I’ve never seen women and children executed, defenseless people executed in this fashion," he said. "I mean, you look at a young woman holding her 2-year-old child with a gunshot wound to the back of the head. I can’t find any reason to justify that."

Add to that the rape and torture chambers and the heap of other attrocities that idiot and his two sons commited and you cannot justify NOT going in and getting him to justice.

The WMD intelligence was what pushed us over the edge to attack. So we find out now the intel was incorrect? So what? It was the right thing to do anyway and it is awsome we had a president with the balls to do it even if it cost him his second term. I really admire his belief in right and wrong no matter how unpopular it may have been.

What bothers me is when some people say that the service men and women that have given their lives in Iraq did so for nothing. That is a slap in the face to the families of those 300,000 dead men, women and children in the mass graves.

Japan attacked us in WWII. NOT GERMANY. Why did we go into Germany? Did Hitler ever attack the USA? Was it a waste of US soldures to take out the Nazis? Was it a mistake to shut down the concentration camps? Was it wise to wait until 1942 to enter WWII when we could had stopped the slaughter sooner? For how many years did we sit on our hands while the Nazis murdered men women and children? Should we had stopped it sooner? We knew it was happening as early as 1937. It's too bad we didn’t stop it then before it got so out of control. Imagine the outrage by the anti-war crowd at the idea of that! Sound familiar?

Well put TraceZ. I watch the History channel and there are a lot of documentaries like that. Its scary the think if the Germans or Japanese got a hold of nucular technolgies. They where actual colaberating to take over the middle east and China for their oil fields .Actually they did get material for a 'dirty bomb' that could have been devistating. Fortuanatly it was too little too late.
