I saw Fahrenheit 911 a week after it came out in the theatres.

I went to Blockbuster with my g/f last week and noticed they had over 20 copies of Fahrenheit 911 and only 1 copy of Fahernhype 911, and they were all checked out.

no guys.......infact... the military wont send father and son into combat at the same time.

Dad was there sooner than me....he was an air force pilot, i was an air force black beret, a mobile combat team stationed in the far east..... we went everywhere a problem surfaced, guam, phillipenes, okinawa, viet nam, you know...all the vacation spots. i was there in 66 for a while, then a short time in 67, two weeks in 68, then back to Anderews AFB. Dad was there in 61-63....... I did end up at the same base he was at a couple of times though.... in fact, one of the Squadron leaders hunted me down and walked up and said "so.......your'e Col. Collings son, eh?"........... "he won the silver star over here, what are you shooting for"? I said "getting home alive......................for one".........

That really means nothing to me at all. I could care less if they booed it or not. I'm sure they're not the only ones doing it. They just don't matter enough for me to care what they think, pretty much. Plus 60,000 people don't represent the whole of canada anyway. And I'm sure if they get a hold of some american t.v., they'd be HOT, with as much as we make fun of them and everything

Yeah, thankfully I am not actually from here. Just been living here for the past 3 years. I am from Texas, and can realate strongly to what you are saying. Candians, especially easterners, tend to hav ethe same sort of disdain for americans as the French. There are alot in this area who support the US and are respectful, but more consider us to be "stupid Americans." This is what makes me so mad when I head people like the Dixie Chicks and michael moore downing the US...I miss my country..and if they are so ashamed to live there then they should just move here...or maybe to Iraq or Afganistan so that they can visit the poor wittle Saddam supporters in jail and stroke their hair and tell them everything is going to be alright.

I agree. I really don't care what other countries are saying either. John Kerry leads in the international polls something like 80% to 20%. Speaks volumes to how stupid the rest of the world is in my opinion. And I am not shy about that view.

the only thing that gets under my skin is when other countries like to bash out decisions..and think they can make better ones. yet people from all walks of life move here because they can have better lifes?? that speaks volumes to me

i am a firm belive that if it doesnt pertain to u then u need to just shut the heck up and worry about ur own trials and tribulations

To be completely fair Americas have done it to Canadian Teams too. Don't Generalize Canada on a sport, If that is how you chose what you like or dislike, by listening to people who are 1) drinking 2) 15,000 of 35,000,000, then you are pretty small minded. I can make all kinds of generalizations about Americans, but I have chosen to talk to all of you and learn about you I feel the people on this board are very level headed and friendly. I fell I’m nice to all of you. One good of a generalization, this summer I was in BC at Colona in a bar and a group of Americans come into the bar asking how far till they get to snow Colona is in a desert. And in the summer you only find snow in the arctic... I could say all Americans have their head up their A$$ for thinking as soon as you cross the 49th it’s snowy. Many Movies portray Canada as a big Snowy wasteland. I loved X men when they went to Canada in the summer in Alberta where I live and it was snowy... And the bar scene was funny as I have only seen a bar like that once and that was because it was a historical site. Please don't chose to dislike Canada because of a hockey game. Oh and I think we have enough anti-unified (traitors) people here already the french always want to split from the country...

Just watched "Fahrenhype" 9/11 last night. Fantastic movie! Please everybody, go to your video store and see if they have it. It will be next to the 50 copies of Fahrenheit 9/11, and you will probably see only 1-2 copies of this movie, so you may have to check around at different video stores before you find a copy. I didn’t even know that they had it at our local video stores, because they didn’t advertise it in any way. I just happened to notice that it was there last night. I don’t know exactly when it was released.
Whether you are a Bush supporter or a Kerry supporter, you need to see this movie. It is very inspiring, and just hit’s the nail on the head, with facts from people like Clinton advisor Dick Morris, actor Ron Silver, former New York City mayor, Ed Koch, Democratic senator Zell Miller, and some of the people “portrayed” in
                                Michael Moore-on’s movie.
Everything in Moore’s movie was creatively taken out of context, and this movie puts it back into the context of reality.
