i wish these road rage vigilanties would either mind there own buisness, or use the cell phone more often. last night i pulled out of a side street, onto a main road sideways and got a good long slide out of it in second. now i have driven F-body's since 1999, and rwd's since i could reach the pedals. i know the street isnt the place for fun, but i am a good driver and can control my car. I also looked and no one was coming except a white car, i say white car because he was far enough away so i could tell what color but not what it was. so any way, i do my little horror show take off and slide, and procede at the speed limit down the road. as i am
at the next light to turn on to the turnpike, i see this white mini van pull up behind me. i thought i recognized it as being a co workers car, but couldnt make out the driver. so i turned when the light went green and this car follows. i pull up to the toll booth and pay my toll. while i am doing this i hear yelling from the van, and i think, ok this has got to be phill(co worker). so i pay toll, and pull out of the booth and over to the side of the road in the little area after the toll booth (we live in no where and notmuch traffic.) so its pretty much dusk now. this van pulls up and i walk up to the passenger window, and am like "hey phillllllll............" and get blasted by some mid to late 30's guy yelling about driving sideways, and being an a#$ hole. i was shocked that it wasnt phill, and kind of stood there for a second. now i am a decent size guy, i am 6'1 230lbs, and a crew cut. i work out regulary, and have a very muscular profile. my response to this guy is, "sir, you need to call the police, and give them my plate #. this isnt the way to deal with this, please dont start any more problems, and just call the cops." so i turn around to get in my car, and he is cussing me out big time and yells "ill show you more problems", as i look around he is putting his van in park and opening the door. i calmly say, sir stay in your car, GET BACK IN THE CAR NOW!!", by the time i get my door open he is in front of his minivan, and this dude is about 5'7, 250lbs, totaly out of shape. now fear and common sense tells me not to mess with guys bigger than me. so at this point i am not scared of him, and calmly get into my car and drive away with a little more rubber for him to smell. my question or comment about this rant is, what are people thinking? this guy had no idea who i am, what i am capable of, or the fact that i am a federal officer for the department of homeland security, that at all times i have a loaded glock 30 on my hip under my shirt. if i wasnt a trained and controled person, he might have not faired so well. whats with people these days any way.

Don't be ignorant. I've had simular runins and the best thing you can do is don't stop. Don't want to sound mean but think before you react.
I don't believe in carrying guns unless you wear a uniform.
