Well, I don’t have anything to apologize for at this point. Jay is the one who criticizes other people on this forum. You are right about this being supposedly for fun, and that I what I have been having, but if someone starts something with me, they are going to get it right back. I didn’t start it, and will never start it. Apparently Jay has some personal problem with me, and I am sorry for that, but if he wants to argue, I think that it should be done off of this forum. Well, I had planned to post this, but then I read Jay’s post. So Jay, you can E-mail me or not E-mail me, the point is, lets keep it off of the forum. I think that I understand now, that the reason that you get so upset whenever I post things against Kerry, is because you favor both Kerry and Bush, but have decided to vote for Bush. The fact that you keep saying that you are going to vote for Bush, yet keep taking offense to my Kerry bashing was confusing to me. I understand now. I will agree that some of my post was a little over the line, this morning, and if I had some leanings toward Kerry in any way, then I think that I would get upset too. That being said, this is what I was going to post:

“I hate to bring this back up, but I reread my post and I realized that there may be some Kerry supporters here, and that they may take offense to my post. I had gotten so used to most everyone speaking out against Kerry that I sort of got caught up in the fervor, and just forgot about the Kerry supporters. I normally try not to get so worked up like that. I just despise Kerry so much, and I fear that he may win the presidency. That would be a problem for me. Believe me, my words were not directed to anyone here, but I do see how it could be taken that way. I don’t understand how I offended Jay, though, since he is supposed to be a Bush supporter.
Anyway, if I offended anyone with my post, then I humbly apologize.”

You're right. I don't care about what happens to New York, because I don't live there.

Whether I am at risk has nothing to do with the fact that it concerns me.

But just an FYI, I work very close to Dearborn, MI - and I wouldn't exactly consider Detroit an "unlikely" target. Certainly not the big target NYC is, but it's no small potatoes either.

Perhaps you've heard of Dearborn? Largest Arabic population in the country.

Just thought I would try to clear this up...what Jay meant was, by sarcasticaly saying that he didn't care what happened to new York was that he DOES care, and that we ARE all united. See...it was sarcasm. And I think what he meant by the large Arabic population was that, being that most terrorists these days are of arabic descent, that the possibility of there being one amongst a large poulation of them like that is a little higher than one being in amongst a large poulation of anglos. And, it is Dearborn Mich, not Dearhorn. At least this is what I got from it. This thread is getting nasty enough without too many more mis-interpretations. Peace, guys.

First I was being sarcastic about not caring... it was you who implied I shouldn't care because I don't live in NYC. Of course I care, I thought it was ridiculous for you to say it shouldn't matter to me, since I live in Clarkston.

Second of all, Dearborn is not rural.

Lastly, I mentioned the large Arabic population because it is VERY closely watched by the feds to see if any masterminds are hanging out there.........
