Thats what the problem with kids these days. All they care about is them selves,Their stocks, their pay raises etc. Our economy is getting and will get better.
It takes courage and sacrafice to fight the terrorist in the middle east now but I'm sure things will pay off in the long run. So we've run up the national defecate. We need to spend more on the military to defend ourselsve and the world. Its money well spent to spread freedom and democacy to other regions of the world.

I sit here with a 4 year degree in economics, and I am trying to tell you some economic truths to Kerry's proposals. I will even admit to you that they SOUND wonderful. But that's surface level.

You wouldn't call a plumber because your sink is backed up, and then tell him how to fix it, would you? Then maybe you should listen to someone with a DEGREE in this field. I am not going to tell you how to design a house -- that's YOUR expertise.

You want to know what happens when a company is taxed for outsourcing? In the short-term more jobs are saved, but companies must charge more for their goods. In turn, sales drop. Sales drop... profits drop... employees are cut. Company loses money. More employees are cut. In the long term, companies will be less likely to set up shop in the USA because they know that if the demands on their business change, they will be penalized for adapting to them. Basically, what started as a "barrier to exit" has become a "barrier to entry". After that, no one wants to do business over here anymore. So then what do they do? They set up shop overseas. Now our docks are flooded with imported goods, and short-sighted people begin ing, "stop the imports! Save America's jobs! Tax imports!". So they do... and so the vicious cycle continues.

Face it, we're in a global economy. Time to step up to the plate....

You know I hear what you are saying but I really dont think the democrates ar wanting to point the US in a downward spirl. Im sure then have people with the proper education to back it up. I mean in the History of the US I refuse to belive that a president want anything less than the greatest nation in the world. Im just tired of hearing everone thats for Bush saying that Kerry doesnt now what he is doing. You just don't get to were he is if you don't know what your doing.

You may find an economist who supports Kerry in the election due to his foreign policies, plans for Iraq, etc... but you are going to be hard-pressed to find an economist who supports Kerry on economic ideas alone...........

I know you weren't bashing me, I asked that because it couldve went either way. I thought you were talking about me changing to bush and being in favor, but it sounded like it couldve meant that you were against me changing.
