well the iroc is not all stock all it has is the hypertech chip and runs a 1/4 mile in the low 13's
Does its shiny wax job reflect police radar too?
My experience has been that full seconds off the 1/4 require 4 digit investments. A "chip" alone is unlikely to make that happen. Got any evidence per chance? A video or maybe a timeslip to start? Or does low 13's start at 13.49 maybe?
If your IROC really runs that strong, it will edge out the stock ss.

Well I had a 92 WS6 Formula with the L98 and it's best time stock was 14.7. After intake, exhaust, TC, and gears it was in the high 13's, but thats alot more than just a chip. My 97 TA would've easily beaten the 92 Formula stock for stock and they're both autos. Although I wish I had hung on the that Formula. I feel like singing memories.
My 88 Formula ran a 13.86 in the quarter after fairly extensive mods such as cam and mild head work, roller rockers, headers, exhaust, etc....it had a hypertech chip in it too! Somehow, I dont see an 87 Iroc running low 13's (or even low 14's) with just a PROM change..... Those cars had a hard time getting out of their own way stock.
