    they are both stock.

The 94 SS. Lots more power, simple as that since it's stock for stock.

Does its shiny wax job reflect police radar too?

My experience has been that full seconds off the 1/4 require 4 digit investments. A "chip" alone is unlikely to make that happen. Got any evidence per chance? A video or maybe a timeslip to start? Or does low 13's start at 13.49 maybe?

If your IROC really runs that strong, it will edge out the stock ss.

          Something smells...

BTW: If they're both stock, the 94 SS is going to walk away pretty easily.

              question

Maybe this is a stupid question, but if the 94 camaro was stock then it wouldn't be an ss because didn't the ss's not come back out until '96?

thats what i was thinking theres no such thing as a 94 ss and i dont think an iroc with just a chip can run a low 13, maybe a high 14 stock

Make up your mind... its either "stock" or "not stock".... now you're telling us its "not stock".

                    Which engine does your 88 IROC-Z have... the RPO L03 (305ci, 170HP), or the optional LB9 (305ci, 195HP) or the optional B2L (350ci, 230HP)?

Just to clear up some confusion, as noted above, their is no 94 SS. All LT1's in 94 were 350ci, 275HP.

Well I had a 92 WS6 Formula with the L98 and it's best time stock was 14.7. After intake, exhaust, TC, and gears it was in the high 13's, but thats alot more than just a chip. My 97 TA would've easily beaten the 92 Formula stock for stock and they're both autos. Although I wish I had hung on the that Formula. I feel like singing memories.

My 88 Formula ran a 13.86 in the quarter after fairly extensive mods such as cam and mild head work, roller rockers, headers, exhaust, etc....it had a hypertech chip in it too! Somehow, I dont see an 87 Iroc running low 13's (or even low 14's) with just a PROM change..... Those cars had a hard time getting out of their own way stock.

i do have a time slip when i raced a trans am at the drags. but i know i cant take out a trans am but i did and the only reason i did was that the differential on the trans am fell off. but i do have the time slip and when i get it i post it up.
