Started looking for headers to complement my mild cam going into the TA. I have always been an adamant supporter of long tubes for the real power gains, sound and just beastliness, but i would also like something i can put on fairly easily as i dont exactly love pulling motors.
I am thinking shorties might be as good for me since i am not planning on any other mods besides intake and tuning the pcm for it all, and i'm thinking it would be an easier install.
Also i was looking on SLP's website and they listed same hp increases for shorties vs long tubes ("up to ~35hp" i think it was). I know the gains are at different rpms, but its a torquey cam and low end is good, so another + for shorties.
If anyone has some insight as to ease of install or performance it would be much appreciated
