I find it very interesting that your IP address is exactly the same as another user on this board.

The odds of two people having the same IP on the same message board are incredibly remote.

While I know it is very remote that two people may have the same IP many service providers use dynamic IP addresses that change every 7-14 days(to help stop servers) so it is possible. also if the person is computer smart they may be spoofing the IP as I do, so that No one can get my real IP. There are many other things I could go into about how IPs can look the same but be different such as NAT( network address transalation) If the two people are on the same ISP and the ISP uses NAT everyone looks like they have the same IP as the service provider will probably have only 5 Public IPs ( cheapers ISPs use this to keep down costs). This part of the reason we are going to have the Internet move to TCP/IP version 2. with an IP that can only have numbers from 1.0.0.0-255.255.255.255 that severly limits the amount of computers that can have true public IP addresses.

Entirely possible, but it appears that grammer, syntax and a few other "footprints" are strangely similar.

In the case of what I just used to spoof mine, it does. However, it points out that an anonimizer is used.

That's what seperates the board from the garden variety. People can build friendships based on truth, honesty and not have to deal with what happens on many other boards.
