  • LS2 Crate engine

    There was a posting about this recently but I can't find it. GM parts direct has the LS2 crate engine in stock for $5,250 . http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/results...umber=12499750
    2002 Electron Blue Vette, 1SC, FE3/Z51, G92 3.15 gears, 308.9 RWHP 321.7 RWTQ (before any mods), SLP headers, Z06 exhaust, MSD Ignition Wires, AC Delco Iridium Spark Plugs, 160 t-stat, lots of ECM tuning

    1995 Z28, many mods, SOLD

          Why didnt you guys tell me any of this stuff when I had my motor rebuilt last year?!!!!!!! AHHHH Look at the opportunities.

              Funny, it doesn't seem like that long ago that the LS1 crate engine was about the same price.

                if we change from LS1 to LS2 how to get it smog ?

                  Huh? The LS2 doesn't have any emissions problems. It's a production motor, just like the LS1.

                  But you don't want to do that. What a waste of money. You don't do motor swaps for 50 horsepower gains.

                    Oh no no no. Right now I'll be happy to get the electrical and computer "issues" straightened out to get my car back on the road. I wouldn't even consider an LT1 to LS1 swap. I just remembered a posting about it a while back.

                      I can build a nice LT1 motor and add a little boost for that price! Long Live the LT1!!
