Four years ago, if i saw that type of enthusiasm in me wanting to go to school, i probably would have had to kick my own arse
. It's official though, i got the email confirmation today, i finally am going back to school after 2 years off now. I just received all my grants/student loan stuff, and I'm all approved and good to go.
On October 3rd, i will officially be starting my education at the Wyoming Technical Institute...Wyotech, in Laramie, Wyoming. I'm going to get an associates in business management, be well on my way towards my ASE Certification in auto (second year of hands on comes while actually working), and am going to take a chassis fabrication/high performance engine class
. The best part is, i will have achieved this and graduated all within 1 year. I will eventually go back and take their custom fab/painting class as well, but will need more $$$ before that happens.
I'm at work right now when i just found out that it's all official, so i had to tell someone....might as well be my gearhead friends here at the 'ol f-bod site
. Best part too is that i can actually work on my ride during some of the classes....hmmmm....i hear they toy around with forced induction during the engine high performance class
Sorry if i seem a little too enthusiastic, but as i'm sure some of you know, you have to live pretty poor at times and have to work your @ss off at a horrible job to achieve your goals....something i have been doing since i graduated hs in '03.
