yes we are all adult on hear and in every day to day life you can curse and cuss all you want but you can in most cases you can see who is around and liserning to your conversation and can make a informed dision weather foul language is appropiate but you have to respect the fact that you are sat behind a screen and you have no idea who is reading what you have typed . and ther for you are lacking a major desion makeing tool so we should all respect the rules and keep it cleen if you want to cuss and curse at some one use the private message feature and keep it off screen. this is just my opion and i know that i am not squeeky clean but as far as i know i have heded the warnings and try my best to be polite if you can,not be polite or feel you suffer from typing turetes sysndrome find another forum that will let you get it off your chest any way you feel you need to

I like the site the way it is. Feels like "home". Not everybody bragging, lying, trolling... Plenty of those sites out there. The admins do a great job weeding stuff out, and make this board a better place. Sets a more calm, friendly atmosphere without the cursing. I dunno, cursing just has that negative tone ___this___that.... If you want to rant like that get a blog or a pet or something.
Not to say I have the cleanest mouth either though. I agree with the 2x rule. Just my 2 cents.

Our site has been reviewed? I never knew that. I agree with the 2x rule. I'm guilty of swearing...heck, get me mad enough and that's all you'll hear. But, the rules hear are simple...if you can't follow the rules, then you get the consequences. That's the way it is, here, outside of here and life in general. I'm thankful to everyone that has made this board so great...the webmaster, the admins (yes, even old-man Ken lol j/k ) and all the fellow users on here. Heck, you all were the first to hear that I graduated . I don't think we should ban on first offense, but forgiveness twice is more than sufficient. Just my 2 cents...take care everyone.

          And Jay...midgets rule!!!!! lol

I agree. Don't get me wrong...I'm sure if we had a contest I would be at least in the top 5 for bad language...Most likely first, but as previoulsy mentioned I have the advantage of seeing the group of people around me (My mom has Never heard me cuss (Respect)) where as my post is there for anyone to read. I also feel that if you can't get your point accross without cussing, then you probably aren't making much of a point at all....Just my opinion.

I post on a lot of F-Body boards, and I'd estimate that at least 90% of what I post is trying to help someone with a problem. I've reached the point where I simply ignore posts asking for help when they are laced with profanity and anger. A thread with "WTF" in the "topic" line gets completely bypassed.

Similarly, I've reached the point where I just don't have the time to read and respond to posts that are basically incoherent, lacking any sort of structure, punctuation, paragraphs, etc.

Not saying that you even need my help or that its anything special, but it might help explain to some people why they don't get a response, or at least don't get "good" help on some posts.

I'm sorry, but I have to ask...being that you are from Europe: Is English your first language? It just seems strange to me that someone from the country where the English language supposedly originated would have such a poor grasp of how to spell words from the language. Sorry, not trying to be rude, just trying to satisfy my own curiosity.
Anyway, as far as the whole language thing goes, I think the 2 warnings and then ZAP! idea is a fair one. The rules are clear and simple and if a person can't follow them, see ya!
