I agree. Don't get me wrong...I'm sure if we had a contest I would be at least in the top 5 for bad language...Most likely first, but as previoulsy mentioned I have the advantage of seeing the group of people around me (My mom has Never heard me cuss (Respect)) where as my post is there for anyone to read. I also feel that if you can't get your point accross without cussing, then you probably aren't making much of a point at all....Just my opinion.

Hi guys, as another Brit like Bigtow ( we're members of the Pontiac drivers club) I too can swear like the best of them especially working in a commercial vehicle workshop, but having four children there has to be a seperation between the language at work and at home.
The same goes for forums, the way you speak is one thing but when you are broadcasting around the world care should be taken since you don't know who is reading the posts.It looks bad for the entire forum and also makes the originator of the message look bad.
I too like this site for the very reason that my eldest son (14) can read the forums and enjoy it without me having to censor everything,unlike the ricer mags we get over here with more naked women than cars!(of course I have to view them first to....you know check)

You guys need to check out a taped standup routine by Bill Cosby entitled "Himself". You'll wet yourself ........ one part is his routine about self sensorship as we grow older and have kids. I've had that tape for years and it gets better every time I watch it.

All the funniest commedians cuss, but if it offends someone I guess that's a different story. I'm in the military and people cuss up storms in my shop, me right along with them.. we got this new chief and he is not to hot on it.

I'm in kind of a bind now because I'm so used to cussing.. heh. It's fun. I disagree with not having a point if you cuss.. I think if you let a string of 4 letter words rip you get out the point that you're p!$$ed alot better! LOL!

It's All about respect for others though.
