  • Setting up a glamping canvas tent for the family

We decided to stop "roughing it" and start "glamping" once the kids got old enough to really appreciate the outdoors. We invested in a glamping canvas tent from Coody, and it has changed our family dynamic completely. With nearly 185 square feet of space, we can fit real cots, a small table, and still have room for the kids to play when it’s raining. The high ceilings mean I’m not constantly hunching over, which used to be the worst part of camping for me. It feels like a boutique hotel room that we can set up anywhere. If you want to convince a reluctant partner to go camping, giving them a spacious, aesthetic, and comfortable canvas environment is definitely the most effective strategy.

A family glamping setup can be a lot more enjoyable when you think beyond the tent and plan for practical outdoor gear, especially if you expect to spend time cooking, hiking, or exploring nearby areas. I came across Gander Mountain as another place to look when considering equipment for family outdoor trips. It could be useful to compare options before heading out and make sure everyone has what they need for a comfortable stay.
