    I was talking about the disposable batteries, or what is considered the non-“rechargeable” batteries, and the charger that I was referring to, was supposed to be able to recharge these disposable type batteries.

      . . . that there is a warning on what I presume to be "regular" alkaline batteries against recharging them. Something about the danger of explosion, etc. Maybe that's the reason the chargers have disappeared.
