Spot on. The latter, unfortunately, is all too common. Good call, Joe.

Even a salvage titled Corvette only sells for 3-5 thousand dollars less than the fair market value.

I sent an email to the seller as well.

I'd always wondered about the trees in places like Texas, Arizona, and California. I always figured they lost their leaves but was never sure. I bet they aren't bare for 6 months like they are around here, though!

It's either sold or the seller is not motivated. He/she did not return my phone call. That's a fantastic way to turn me off to doing business with you...

I'm sure they've probably been inundated with calls and email. Probably took the phone off the hook!

I'm sure it will be a while until the Auto Trader ad is pulled as well. I bought my car by finding it through Auto Trader back in early April. They didn't pull the ad until the first week of June.

We have a deal. I get to pick the escrow company of my choice to facilitate the financial transaction. It will be a major financial institution well known and safe for both of us.

Agree? If yes, I will make arrangements quickly and get a copy of my address to you for shipping.

I know the deal won't happen, but we'll see how far he takes it until he is discovered as a fraud. I'm willing to give the cash to a escrow service, as long as I get to choose the company. When the car doesnt show up, I'll simply get my money back and report him for fraud.
