It's good that you let the authorities know about it. Unfortunately, if he's outside of the country, there isn't a whole lot they can do other than shut down his ad.
I contacted the autotrader directly and reported his fraudulent ad and they didn't do a dang thing about it.....the ad is still there.

Doesn't surprise me. I found my T/A on Autotrader, and bought it from the dealership. They called Autotrader the day I picked it up. One month later, my car was still up there. It was six weeks since I had it home before the ad came down.

The dealership could've have taken the ad down directly. That sounds more like a dealer problem than autotrader. It's not autotraders responsibility to take down ads after they sell, the seller does that. Or the ad just runs out.
