wut gets to me is the reason for a guys insurance to be more than a girls! "because boys are more of a risk!!!" if i discriminated against someone due to their gender i would be brought up on charges! y arent they? BECUASE OF MAINLY, TECHNICALITIES! u cant accuse someone of sexism if they hire both men and women employees, can u!?!

i absolutely love the statistics that they use to back their claim too! Statistics twisted and edited to make women obviously the bettert of the two. DONT GET ME WRONG! i beleive women to be great driver's! but i was once shown the stats to show that men were more of a liability, THEY WERE FROM DIFFERENT COUNTRIES, AND THE #'S WERE OF MEN OF ALL AGES AND WOMEN OF A SELECT AGE GROUP!!! if you showed that info in a law suit, u would be laughed from the courtroom!!

You're so far off in this post, I'm not really even going to bother countering it.

What do you think insurance rates are based off? Assessment of RISK. And no, insurance companies don't base their rates off of statistics from other countries. Where do people come up with this stuff? I guess some people will just never get that. Oh well.

What's interesting is that I think I've been shown statistics where women actually do cause more accidents than men - by quite a wide margin. But by the same wide margin, men cause more fatal accidents than women. I feel like I've seen this somewhere, maybe it's just an urban legend.

Where's the data for "fender bender" crashes where there is no real damage? I think that's what I'm thinking of...

That's interesting. I know cars are much safer now than in 1975, but some how the number of fatal crashes for women is relatively constant.

lol, with all due respect...

trust me, i've done my research, three weeks of reseach to be a little more precise. not to sound ascendant, but there r countless factors that i wont even begin to list that manipulate the numbers. if there is one thing i know well, it how to manipulate pretty much any topic. these numbers r no different than others. if u r interested in such flaws they would include the fact the these numbers include the great number of careerss in which men r far more employeed in than women. and so on and so forth.
i suggest u read up on the works of David Hume.

tip #1: people quite often show u a graph so that they can distract u from looking farther into the details. furthermore graphs minimize the numbers presented in data.

i mean for of this to sound rude...i just pursue concepts that many dont even both recognizing. it's how go throughout life retaining my sanity.
